Location Sound for Film & TV Portfolio​

Matthew works as a location sound recordist for scripted and non-scripted content. He is experienced in working with filmmakers for corporate content and with small crews for documentary and short film shoots, as well as working as a sound assistant on larger scale high end productions.

Us Too - Meerkat Films

Commissioned by Durham University and Sunderland University, Us Too: Alisha’s Story was co-created by Open Clasp Theatre Company and women from Us Too, a group with learning disabilities, autism or both who have experienced domestic abuse. The women were supported by the Association for Real Change (ARC UK), a national charity supporting providers of Learning Disability and Autism services.

RUBY is a 17-year-old girl who has left home to live with an older man. Enigmatic Frank is on a spiritual quest, rejecting society to live freely – an alluring prospect for a restless young girl looking for adventure. When Frank's thin façade of enlightenment starts to crumble Ruby finds herself deep in the woods far from anywhere. Hope and excitement turn into confusion and fear as subtle coercion begins to undermine Ruby's hold on reality. With the sand shifting beneath her feet only one thing is certain - this will become a defining moment in her life.
